7-year old girl mauled by a dog while playing yards from her
A 7-year old girl, Maleeka Smyth, was dragged along the street near Bolton (UK) by the Staffordshire bull terrier, which tore skin close to her eye and caused two puncture wounds to the back of her head. The incident happened while she was playing yards from her home.
The dog had escaped from a nearby house and barked at Maleeka.
